บทคัดย่อ

บทความ ไทลื้อ : วิถีชีวิตและอัตลักษณ์ทางวัฒนธรรม เป็นการนำเสนอเกี่ยวกับเรื่องราว วิถีชีวิตตลอดจนอัตลักษณ์ทางวัฒนธรรมของชาวไทลื้อเมื่อครั้งอาศัยอยู่ในแคว้นสิบสองจุไทยหรือสิบสองปันนามลฑลยูนนาน ประเทศจีน ประกอบอาชีพทางการเกษตรและทอผ้า นิยมตั้งบ้านเรือนอยู่ตามที่ราบลุ่มแม่น้ำของเมืองเชียงรุ่ง ซึ่งเป็นเมืองหลวงของแคว้นสิบสองปันนาในขณะนั้น คนไทลื้อมีภาษาพูดและตัวอักษรเขียนเป็นของตนเองมานาน โดยภาษาไทลื้อนั้นจัดอยู่ในกลุ่มภาษาตระกูลไท (ไต) และมีบางคำที่คล้ายภาษาเหนือมีการดำรงชีวิตที่ยึดมั่นในพระพุทธศาสนา จึงมีประเพณีที่เกี่ยวเนื่องกับศาสนามากมาย ส่วนอัตลักษณ์ด้านวัฒนธรรมที่ชัดเจนคือการแต่งกาย โดยตัวเสื้อมีลักษณะเป็นเสื้อผ่าอก เอวลอย แขนยาว สวมใส่กับผ้าซิ่นหรือกางเกง ตัดเย็บจากผ้าชนิดต่างๆ มีผ้าโพกหัวทั้งผู้หญิงและผู้ชาย ชาวไทลื้อมีความเชื่อด้านพิธีกรรมจึงพบว่ามีการนับถือผีที่หลากหลาย ทั้งผีเจ้าเมือง ผีบ้านผีเรือน เป็นต้น
