Development of the scientific process skill by using experiment science activities as learning supplement: Case study at Pramotewittaya Ramintra school

บทคัดย่อ (ABSTRACT)
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) เปรียบเทียบทักษะกระบวนการทางวิทยาศาสตร์ขั้นสูง 2) ศึกษาความคงทนทางด้านทักษะกระบวนการทางวิทยาศาสตร์ และ 3) ศึกษาความพึงพอใจของผู้ร่วมกิจกรรมโดยใช้กิจกรรมการทดลองทางวิทยาศาสตร์เสริมการเรียนรู้
กลุ่มตัวอย่าง ได้แก่ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 โรงเรียนปราโมทวิทยารามอินทราจำนวน 50 คน ได้มาจากการสุ่มแบบกลุ่ม เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แบบวัดทักษะกระบวนการทางวิทยาศาสตร์ขั้นสูง แบบวัดความรู้พื้นฐาน และแบบประเมินความพึงพอใจ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติค่าร้อยละ ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการทดสอบค่า t – test dependent
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ผลการวัดความรู้พื้นฐานทางวิทยาศาสตร์นักเรียนที่เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมการทดลองทางวิทยาศาสตร์เสริมการเรียนรู้ มีความรู้พื้นฐานหลังร่วมกิจกรรมมีคะแนนเฉลี่ย 18.21 และเมื่อ เปรียบเทียบทักษะกระบวนการทางวิทยาศาสตร์ขั้นสูง มีความแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ ทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 และผู้ร่วมกิจกรรมมีระดับความพึงพอใจในกิจกรรมเรื่องอุปกรณ์การทดลองและวิทยากรมากที่สุด
The aims of this case study are 1) to compare different advance science process skills, 2) to investigate the development of science process skills and 3) to find out participants’ satscience experiments as additional learning activity.
The samples are 50 students randomly selected from the seventh grade studying at Pramotewitthaya Ramintra School. Research instruments employed were advanced science process skills assessment, basic knowledge assessment and satisfaction questionnaire. Data collected were analysis by descriptive statistic and t-test.
The results showed that students who participated in science experimental science activities as learning supplement gained better basic knowledge with an average score of 18.21 out of 25. The comparison between different advance science process skills was statistically significant at 0.05 whereas participants satisfied highly with laboratory apparatus activities and the guest speakers
