A Study of the Efficiency of the Online Educational Document Request System of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi

บทคัดย่อ
ระบบขอเอกสารทางการศึกษาออนไลน์ของมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลธัญบุรี เป็นระบบบริการที่ใช้สำหรับการยื่นคำร้องขอเอกสารสำคัญทางการศึกษา ซึ่งมีแนวโน้มผู้ใช้งานเพิ่มขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง จึงนำไปสู่ความตั้งใจในการศึกษาประสิทธิภาพของระบบ เพื่อนำผลลัพธ์ไปใช้ในการพัฒนา และยกระดับการให้บริการให้ดียิ่งขึ้น การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาประสิทธิภาพการใช้งานระบบขอเอกสารทางการศึกษาออนไลน์ ของมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลธัญบุรี 2) ศึกษาพฤติกรรมการใช้งานระบบขอเอกสารทางการศึกษาออนไลน์ของมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลธัญบุรี และ 3) เปรียบเทียบประสิทธิภาพการใช้งาoระบบขอเอกสารทางการศึกษาออนไลน์ ของมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลธัญบุรี กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ นักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลธัญบุรี ที่กำลังศึกษาอยู่ในระดับปริญญาตรี และระดับบัณฑิตศึกษา ที่มีประสบการณ์ใช้บริการระบบขอเอกสารทางการศึกษาออนไลน์ ของมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลธัญบุรี จำนวน 400 คน เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจากแบบสอบถามออนไลน์ ผ่านระบบบริการการศึกษาของสำนักส่งเสริมวิชาการและงานทะเบียน หลังจากนั้นนำมาวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติพื้นฐาน ได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน t-test และการวิเคราะห์ค่าความแปรปรวนทางเดียว (One Way ANOVA)
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า

- ผลการศึกษาประสิทธิภาพการใช้งานระบบขอเอกสารทางการศึกษาออนไลน์ ของมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลธัญบุรี พบว่า ในภาพรวม มีประสิทธิภาพอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด (X̅ = 4.26) เมื่อพิจารณารายด้าน พบว่า ทุกด้านมีประสิทธิภาพในระดับมากที่สุด ด้านข้อมูลที่ตรงตามความต้องการของผู้ใช้มีประสิทธิภาพสูงสุด (X̅= 4.28) รองลงมา ด้านความสามารถของระบบ (X̅ = 4.26) ด้านความปลอดภัยและการปกป้องข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล (X̅= 4.26) ด้านความถูกต้องแม่นยำของผลลัพธ์ (X̅= 4.26) ด้านความสะดวกและง่ายต่อการใช้งานระบบ (X̅= 4.25) และด้านการทำงานร่วมกัน (X̅= 4.24) ตามลำดับ
- ผลการศึกษาพฤติกรรมการใช้งานระบบขอเอกสารทางการศึกษาออนไลน์ ของมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลธัญบุรี พบว่า ผู้ใช้งานส่วนใหญ่เข้าใช้งานระบบจากบ้านพักอาศัย ช่วงเวลาในการใช้งาน อยู่ในช่วงเวลา 12.01 – 15.00 น. ระยะเวลาในการใช้งาน 5 – 10 นาที/ครั้ง และความถี่ของการเข้าใช้งาน น้อยกว่า 1 – 2 ครั้ง/สัปดาห์
- ผลการเปรียบเทียบประสิทธิภาพการใช้งานระบบขอเอกสารทางการศึกษาออนไลน์ ของมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลธัญบุรี พบว่า ลักษณะประชากรด้านเพศ อายุ ชั้นปี ระดับการศึกษา และคณะแตกต่างกัน มีผลต่อประสิทธิภาพการใช้งานระบบขอเอกสารทางการศึกษาออนไลน์ ของมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลธัญบุรี ในส่วนของพฤติกรรมการใช้งาน ด้านความถี่ของการเข้าใช้งาน ช่วงเวลาในการใช้งาน สถานที่ในการใช้งาน และระยะเวลาในการใช้งาน ในขณะที่ภาพรวมมีผลต่อประสิทธิภาพ ไม่แตกต่างกัน
ผลการวิจัยในครั้งนี้ พบว่า ระบบขอเอกสารทางการศึกษาออนไลน์มีประสิทธิภาพในการรองรับพฤติกรรม และไลฟ์สไตล์ของนักศึกษาในปัจจุบันได้อย่างเหมาะสม โดยช่วยลดข้อผิดพลาดจากกระบวนการเดิมที่ใช้เอกสารกระดาษ พร้อมทั้งแสดงผลข้อมูลแบบ Real Time และสนับสนุนการจัดเก็บข้อมูลเพื่อการวิเคราะห์ทางสถิติอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ซึ่งเป็นประโยชน์ต่อการวางแผนและพัฒนาระบบในเชิงลึกของสำนักส่งเสริมวิชาการและงานทะเบียน ข้อมูลที่ได้จากการวิจัยสามารถนำไปใช้ในการปรับปรุงระบบให้ชัดเจน ใช้งานง่าย รองรับอุปกรณ์หลากหลาย และตอบสนองต่อความต้องการของผู้ใช้ได้ดียิ่งขึ้น อีกทั้งยังเป็นแนวทางในการขยายระบบเพื่อรองรับผู้ใช้งานในวงกว้างในอนาคต ต่อยอดสู่การพัฒนาเทคโนโลยี เช่น การเชื่อมโยงกับระบบอื่นภายในมหาวิทยาลัย และการยกระดับประสบการณ์ของผู้ใช้งานให้สอดคล้องกับเป้าหมายของการเป็น Smart University อย่างยั่งยืน
ABSTRACT
The online educational document request system of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi is a service system used for submitting requests for official academic documents which the number of users has continuously increasing. This leads to the intention to study the efficiency of the system for developing and enhancing the service level. The objectives of this research are 1) to study the efficiency of the online educational document request system of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, 2) to study the usage behavior of the efficiency of the online educational document request system of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, and 3) to compare the efficiency of of the online educational document request system of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi. The samples used in the research were 400 students of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi who are studying at the undergraduate and graduate levels with the experiences of using the online educational document request system of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi. Data were collected by online questionnaires through the educational service system of the Office of Academic Promotion and Registration. After that, the data were analyzed with basic statistics such as percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and One-Way ANOVA analysis.
The results showed that :
- the study on the efficiency of the online education document request system of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi showed that the overall efficiency was at the highest level (X̅= 4.26). Considering each aspect, it was found that all aspects of efficiency were at the highest level. The aspect of information that meets the needs of users is the most effective (X̅= 4.28), followed by the system capability (X̅ = 4.26), security and personal data protection (X̅ = 4.26), accuracy of results (X̅ = 4.26), while, convenience and ease of use of the system (X̅= 4.25), and collaboration. (X̅ = 4.24), respectively.
- the study on usage behavior of the online educational document request system of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi revealed that most users accessed the system from their residences. The majority of system usage occurred between 12:01 PM and 3:00 PM, with each session lasting approximately 5 to 10 minutes, and the frequency of usage was less than 1–2 times per week.
- the comparison of the efficiency of the use of the online educational document request system of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, it was found that the differences of demographics; gender, age, grade, level of education, and faculties had effects on the efficiency of using the online educational document request system of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi. In terms of usage behavior; frequency of use, period of frequent use, place of use and duration of use, while, in overall, there was no difference on the efficiency of usage.
The results of this research showed that the online education document request system is effective in supporting the behavior and lifestyle of current students appropriately. This reduces errors from the traditional process of using paper documents, displays data in real time, and supports the storage of data for statistical analysis efficiently. This is useful for the in-depth planning and development of the Office of Academic Promotion and Registration. The information obtained from this research can be used for improving the system to be clear, ease to use, supporting a varity of devices and better responds to user needs. It is also a guideline to expand the system to support a wide range of users in the future and to futher for technology development, such as linkage with other systems within the university and enhancing the user experience align with the goal of becoming a Smart University sustainably.
