The Effects of Brand Image and Integrated Marketing Communication on the Purchase Decision of Drinking Water among Consumers in Bangkok

บทคัดย่อ

งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา 1) ภาพลักษณ์ตราสินค้าและการสื่อสารทางการตลาดแบบครบวงจรของน้ำดื่มตราสิงห์ คริสตัล และสปริงเคิล 2) ปัจจัยส่วนบุคคลที่มีผลต่อการตัดสินใจซื้อน้ำดื่มของผู้บริโภคในเขตกรุงเทพมหานคร 3) ภาพลักษณ์ตราสินค้าและการสื่อสารทางการตลาดแบบครบวงจรที่มีผลต่อการตัดสินใจซื้อน้ำดื่มของผู้บริโภคในเขตกรุงเทพมหานคร

กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในงานวิจัย ได้แก่ ผู้บริโภคที่เลือกซื้อน้ำดื่มตราสิงห์ ตราคริสตัล และ ตราสปริงเคิล รวมทั้งหมดเป็น 450 คน ทำการเก็บข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถาม สถิตที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลได้แก่ ค่าความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน Independent Samples t-test, One-way ANOVA (F-test) และ Multiple Regression Analysis ที่ระดับนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ 0.05

ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ผู้บริโภคมีความคิดเห็นต่อภาพลักษณ์ตราสินค้าน้ำดื่มตราสิงห์ อยู่ในระดับมาก น้ำดื่มตราคริสตัล อยู่ในระดับมาก และน้ำดื่มตราสปริงเคิล อยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด และการสื่อสารทางการตลาดแบบครบวงจรที่มีผลต่อการตัดสินใจซื้อน้ำดื่ม ตราสิงห์ อยู่ในระดับมาก น้ำดื่มตราคริสตัล อยู่ในระดับมาก และน้ำดื่มตราสปริงเคิล อยู่ในระดับมาก นอกจากนี้ ผลการทดสอบสมมติฐาน พบว่า ปัจจัยภาพลักษณ์ตราสินค้ามีผลต่อการตัดสินใจซื้อน้ำดื่มตราสิงห์มากที่สุด คือ ด้านผู้ใช้ (ß = 0.375) น้ำดื่มตราคริสตัล คือ ด้านวัฒนธรรม (ß = 0.421) น้ำดื่มตราสปริงเคิล คือ ด้านผู้ใช้ (ß = 0.358) ส่วนปัจจัยการสื่อสารทางการตลาดแบบครบวงจรมีผลต่อการตัดสินใจซื้อน้ำดื่มตราสิงห์ ตราคริสตัล และตราสปริงเคิล มากที่สุด คือ การสื่อสาร ณ จุดขายโดยมีค่า ß = 0.425, ß = 0.238 และ ß = 0.410 ตามลำดับ


Abstract

The purposes of this research were to study: 1) the brand image and integrated marketing communication of drinking water brands: Singha, Crystal, and Sprinkle, 2) the effects of consumer factors on the purchase decision of drinking water among consumers in Bangkok, and 3) the effects of brand image and integrated marketing factors on the purchase decision of drinking water among consumers in Bangkok.

The samples used in this study were 450 consumers who chose to purchase drinking water brands of Singha, Crystal, and Sprinkle. The data were collected by the use of a questionnaire. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Independent Samples t-test, One-Way ANOVA (F-test), and multiple regression analysis at a significance level of 0.05.

The results of the study indicated that consumer opinions on the brand image of Singha drinking water were at a high level, Crystal at a high level, and Sprinkle at the highest level, while integrated marketing communication on the decision to purchase drinking water of Singha was at a high level, Crystal was at a high level, and Sprinkle was also at a high level. In addition, from the hypothesis testing, it was found that the factor of brand image most influencing the decision to purchase drinking water of Singha was the users (ß=0.375), Crystal was the culture (ß=0.421), and Sprinkle was the users (ß=0.358). In relation to integrated marketing communication factors that affected the decision to purchase drinking water of Singha, Crystal, and Sprinkle, communication at the point of sale was the most important factor with ß=0.425, ß=0.238, and ß=0.410, respectively.
