บททคัดย่อ
ผลงานการสร้างสรรค์นี้ เป็นการทำงานจากการศึกษาค้นคว้าข้อมูลทางทฤษฎี และการรับรู้จากประสบการณ์ของตนเองจนเข้าถึงที่มาของแนวคิด อันเกิดจากเศษวัสดุเหลือใช้จากผลผลิตในบริบทสังคมการดำรงชีวิตในยุคศตวรรษที่ 21 ที่ต้องการความรวดเร็วและเพิ่มขึ้นของการผลิตทางอุตสาหกรรมจนลืมชีวิตและการดำรงอยู่ ทำให้เกิดมลพิษและสภาวะแวดล้อมได้รับความเสียหาย และอาจส่งผลให้เกิดเป็นภัยพิบัติทางธรรมชาติได้ การนำเศษวัสดุที่เหลือใช้ หรือเศษวัสดุที่ไม่ได้ใช้งาน แต่ยังสามารถนำกลับมาใช้ใหม่นั้น เป็นการแปลงสภาพเศษวัสดุ (ลียูส Reuse) เพื่อช่วยลดปริมาณการใช้ทรัพยากรและแก้ปัญหาของเศษวัสดุ ให้เกิดการใช้ประโยชน์อย่างคุ้มค่า สามารถนำกลับมาใช้ประโยชน์ได้อย่างสร้างสรรค์ จากการค้นคว้าและสร้างสรรค์ผลงานโครงการงานสร้างสรรค์เรื่อง “จินตภาพจากเศษวัสดุ” ได้กำหนดขอบเขตการศึกษาไว้ดังนี้
1. ขอบเขตด้านเนื้อหา มีแนวความคิดในเรื่องการนำเศษวัสดุกลับมาใช้ใหม่ และการสร้างคุณค่าทางสุนทรีภาพทางความงามให้เกิดขึ้นจากการใช้เศษวัสดุด้วยกระบวนการทางศิลปะและกลวิธีเฉพาะของผู้สร้างสรรค์
2. ขอบเขตด้านรูปแบบ มีการแสดงออกของผลงานทางด้านรูปแบบศิลปะนามธรรม (abstract) โดยนำเศษวัสดุมาสร้างรูปทรงเพื่อให้ได้รูปทรงและโครงสร้างที่สอดคล้องกับเรื่องราวและความงามในลักษณะการใช้ทัศนธาตุทางศิลปะและหลักการจัดองค์ประกอบศิลป์
3. ขอบเขตด้านกระบวนการ แสดงออกโดยใช้กระบวนการประติมากรรมสื่อผสม (Mixed Media Art) สร้างและการผสมผสานวัสดุธรรมชาติและวัสดุสังเคราะห์เข้าด้วยกันอย่างมีเอกภาพ การประกอบสร้างรูปทรงใหม่ที่มีแรงบันดาลใจสืบเนื่องจากการศึกษา และค้นคว้าการหาค่าความเป็นไปได้ใหม่ของเศษวัสดุ
Abstract
The objective of this creative research is to express educational content and the perception of one’s own experience. In the context of our 21st century lifestyle, rapid demand and increase of industrial production have been prioritized over human life and existence. The result has been excessive waste from materials, pollution, and other damages to the environment, including natural disasters. Transformation of scrap and reusable material helps reduce resource consumption and solves the problem of the disposal of scrap materials in a cost-effective and efficient manner. The artist is researching and creating artwork themed “Imagery from Scrap Materials” based on the following scopes:
1. The Scope of the Research
The artist creates aesthetic value to the artwork through the concept of recycling scrap material by using specific techniques and processes.
2. The Scope of the Format
The artist creates abstract artwork by using fragments of materials in order to obtain a form and structure in accordance with the theme, with the purpose of expressing beauty through visual elements of art and principles of composition.
3. The Scope of the Process
The artist presents a process based on Mixed Media Art, whereby natural and synthetic materials are combined together in a unified way to create sculptures. The creation of the new shapes are inspired by studying and researching innovative ways of using scrap materials.
